I really love this app. It’s incredible how you can talk with anyone around the world without paying actual money. There’s nothing wrong happening with my version, the camera works well and shoots good photos. There are some things that would make this app the best messaging app. The first one is that when you mute a group chat there should be an option that allows you to mute it forever, same goes with the real-time location. When you create a group, others shouldn’t have the option to kick you from the group, and there should be an option to make someone not be an admin without having to kick the person and adding them again. Also, I really want the GIFs to have their own spot so you don’t need to go to Photos and Videos and then click GIFs. Also, make a DRAWING option. Well, that’s all. Thanks for this amazing app.
App got worse after no choice then having to update
Please note that you only have about **an hour** after you’ve sent a message to delete for everyone.
Messages that are successfully deleted for everyone will be replaced with:
“**This message was deleted**”
To delete messages for everyone:
1. Open the WhatsApp chat containing the message you want to delete.
2. Tap and hold the message :: tap **Delete**.
* Optionally, select more messages to delete multiple messages at once.
3. Tap the **trash can** icon :: **Delete For Everyone**.
* In order for messages to be successfully deleted for everyone, both you and your recipient must be using the latest version of WhatsApp.
* Recipients using WhatsApp for iOS may still have media you sent saved to their Photos, even after the message is deleted from the WhatsApp chat.
* Recipients may see your message before it’s deleted or if deletion wasn’t successful.
* You won’t be notified if deleting for everyone wasn’t successful.
* You only have about an hour after you’ve sent a message to request to **Delete for Everyone**
Broken: Will change rating after bugfix
Hello, I can’t get into whatsapp at all. It crashes after a second of opening. Recovery functionality also breaks after a second, so I am afraid to uninstall the app in case my data isnt recovered. I love whatsapp. But currently it is completely unusable, even after closing the app, turning my phone off and on, and installing the latest update. i didnt see a way to report bugs in the Help center, so this is the only place i know i can let whatsapp know whats going on. Please fix soon and I will change the rating!
Update: Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, the error was not resolved, so i uninstalled and reinstalled whatsapp to fix my issue. Since i didnt enable backups, i lost everything. Have started again from scratch.
I will continue to use whatsapp since it is the best free international communication app i have used. However, i really hope the underlying bug gets fixed, as i lost everything.
