Summer Update 2021
The Summer Update 2021 is the third Summer seasonal update on Horrific Housing. It was originally planned to be released on June 30th, 2021, but it was delayed for unknown reasons and released on July 4th, 2021. The update introduces a Summer themed lobby, 3 new events, the oxygen bar, summer essence, the summer event pass, the summer chest 3 new missions, 5 new ornaments, and a new pet. The void in the playing area was also replaced with ocean, similar to the previous summer updates.
Another update was released on August 21st, 2021. It added the boss gamemode, more event rewards, more missions, and changed the lobby obby.

Oxygen Bar
The oxygen bar and HP bar.
This year’s Summer Update introduced players to a new mechanism for their game, which is an oxygen bar. This bar will appear above the HP bar and appears in blue color. This bar will only appear if a player swims into the water. Oxygen decreases when a player is in the ocean and gradually refills when the player is not on the ocean. When the bar is full, it will disappear. If a player still remains in the ocean while running out of oxygen, they will take damage gradually.
Events
Rising Acid
«WATCHOUT! ITS FLOODING WITH ACID. «
Rising Acid replaces the «Rising Water» event; instead of water, the playing area is being flooded with green acid.
Oxygen Tank
«Someone gets an oxygen tank.»
Oxygen Tank is an event that alters the oxygen bar stat, where it adds more oxygen to a player, allowing the player to stay longer in the ocean without taking damage.
Acidic Ocean
«The water becomes acidic!»
Acidic Ocean is an event that changes the ocean into acid. This sets every player’s oxygen bar to 1. If a player touches it, they will be instantly damaged.
The event quote appears in Green.
