Slayer’s Testaments Beta mod installation, QuakeSpasm installation included.
The tutorial contains text from Slayer’s Testament readme file and from ingame «tutorials» menu.

Since the mod is designed to play on Quakespasm, we need to install it.

New game launches original Quake levels, if you want to play Demo level:
Set the skill through the console, then in the console type «map demo_map», and play.
Weapon mod bots are scattened throughout the envirovement, they contain useful upgrades/alt fires for your weapons.
How to get mods: simply punch these bots and they will let go of the case they carry. Some of these bots can be hidden.
Enemies will flash blue and orange when they are in a wounded state, sifnifying they can be glory killed.
To glory kill, simply take out your fists or use your quick meele key (Shift) and they will drop health. Provided health is low enough.
Console command «glorykill_toggle» will disable the wounded state and highlight (not health drops).

The remaster’s visuals are “old made new again”, with faithful improvements to Quake’s classic style

No longer concerned with the technical limits of the era, MachineGames’ newest episode
carries astounding visuals alongside Quake’s core gameplay loop
The update is free to any existing owners of Quake, and also features releases on other consoles like PS4 and Xbox One to allow non-PC players to experience this classic shooter for themselves. Improved multiplayer functionality allows friends and communities to relive the glory days and compete in multiplayer or co-operate in the new campaign levels. On top of that, there’s an addons menu that, in time, could be a one-stop locale for curated content from Quake’s prolific content creators. This would allow even console players to access the vast amounts of Quake UGC on the web.

Как установить slayer testament
Всем привет, и в этом руководстве я хочу рассказать и показать, как установить мод для Quake, который является демейком (Это как ремейк, только демейк) Дума 2016 года. Приступим!

Тут, кстати два варианта.
Если у вас есть стим версия Quake:
1. УСТАНОВИТЕ её
2. Скачайте QuakeSpasm 0.93.2 (Ссылка на него будет в конце)
3. Скачайте Slayer’s Testaments (Ссылка на дискорд сервер, откуда можно скачать релизную версию)
3.1. Если вы действительно не знаете как скачивать из дискорд сервера, если быть точнее, из какого чата, то.
3.2. Заходите в чат под названием «releases»
3.3. Если посмотреть нормально, то вы увидите ссылку на гугл диск, а дальше уже ясно. (По-крайней мере я так думаю.)
4. Заходим в папку Quake
4.1. Если вы и это не знаете как сделать, то.
4.2. Заходим в вашу библиотеку, ищем в списке игр Quake, нажимаем по нему правой кнопкой мыши, заходим в «Свойства», «Локальные файлы», «Просмотреть локальные файлы», готово.
5. Разархивируйте все файлы из QuakeSpasm 0.93.2 в папку Quake
6. Точно также, разархивируйте все файлы из Slayer’s Testaments
7. После этого, этого запустите батник «Run Slayer’s Testaments»
8. Игра запустилась, все хорошо.
8.1 Если по какой причине, после запуска новой игры, ничего не происходит:
8.2 Нажимаете букву Ё, открывается строка
8.3 В этой строке пишите: «map start» и нажимаете Enter
Тут во основном ничего особенного нет, кроме как, скачивать надо с другого ресурса.
1. Скачиваете Quake с dosgames
2. Скачайте QuakeSpasm 0.93.2
3. Скачайте Slayer’s Testaments
3.1. Если вы действительно не знаете как скачивать из дискорд сервера, если быть точнее, из какого чата, то.
3.2. Заходите в чат под названием «releases»
3.3. Если посмотреть нормально, то вы увидите ссылку на гугл диск.
4. Рекомендуется создать папку и скинуть в нее Quake из архива.
5. Разархивируйте все файлы из QuakeSpasm 0.93.2 в папку Quake
6. Точно также, разархивируйте все файлы из Slayer’s Testaments
7. После этого, этого запустите батник «Run Slayer’s Testaments»
8. Игра запустилась, вы молодец.
